Start with appliances, electronics, furniture, valuables, important documents, or anything that would be difficult to identify or replace after an unexpected event.

Add useful evidence
Keep the details with the item
Add photos, receipts, model and serial numbers, purchase details, replacement values, warranty information, and notes where they can be found together.

Maintain the record
Update it when life changes
Add new purchases, remove items you no longer own, record service work, and review warranty or maintenance information periodically.

Protect your work with Plus
Turn on Backup & Sync
Select Turn On Backup & Sync. That one click is the whole setup — no passwords, recovery phrases, or QR codes. Your working records remain in the browser, while Plus keeps an encrypted, protected copy in your NexyBay account.

Use another browser
Verify with a six-digit emailed code
Sign in as usual, enter the six-digit code sent to your account email, and your latest backup loads automatically. Afterward you may be offered Add a Passkey for faster verification, and Not now keeps everything working the same way.
Browser-based working copy
Starter stays in one browser; Plus adds protected access elsewhere
Home Records saves its working copy in the browser profile where you created it. Plus Backup & Sync keeps an encrypted, protected online copy so another compatible browser can open the records after a quick email verification. Starter does not include Backup & Sync.
On a personal device
- Turn on Backup & Sync once
- Add a passkey if you want faster verification
- Keep access to your account email protected
- Sign out when another person uses the device
On a shared device
- Do not save account passwords
- Do not add a passkey on a computer that is not yours
- Sign out when you are finished
- Close the private session when finished
