Terms for using NexyBay Home Records

These Terms of Use apply to the NexyBay Home Records website, Starter plan, Home Records Plus, account services, Backup & Sync, email verification, optional passkeys, purchases, and support. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Purpose

Home Records is an organizational tool for household inventory, documents, warranties, maintenance, contacts, reports, and related information. It is not legal, insurance, financial, tax, appraisal, security, or emergency advice.

2. Starter and Plus

Starter permits up to 10 inventory items without a time limit. Its working records remain in the browser profile being used. Plus is a one-time digital purchase that removes that limit and includes account-connected Backup & Sync, subject to browser, device, storage, and service limitations.

3. Customer account and access

You are responsible for maintaining a valid account email you can receive verification codes at, protecting your password, and keeping account information current. Plus access is connected to the purchasing account and may not be resold, publicly shared, or used for unrelated households or a competing service.

NexyBay may suspend or revoke Plus access associated with a refunded or reversed payment, fraud, unauthorized sharing or resale, abuse, or a material violation of these terms.

4. Purchases and refunds

Prices and introductory offers are shown before checkout. Paid access is normally connected after payment is confirmed. Digital purchases are generally final after delivery, subject to the Refund Policy and applicable law.

5. Your records and files

You retain ownership of the household information and files you enter. You are responsible for accuracy, legality, device security, and deciding what information is appropriate to store.

6. Backup, synchronization, and device verification

The working copy is stored in the browser profile being used. Plus customers can turn on Backup & Sync to keep an encrypted online copy and open it on another compatible browser after signing in and entering a six-digit verification code sent to the account email address.

Backup & Sync is a Plus feature and is not included with Starter. A passkey is optional and may be added for faster verification; declining it does not limit Backup & Sync. Keeping access to the account email address is important, because losing that access may prevent verification of a new browser or device and may affect recovery.

7. Security and availability

No browser, device, software, hosting platform, network, passkey provider, or online backup is guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or permanently compatible. Features and technical requirements may change.

8. Acceptable use

You may not violate law, infringe rights, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, test stolen payment information, overload systems, bypass access controls, or submit abusive, deceptive, or unlawful content.

9. Ownership of the service

NexyBay and its licensors retain rights in the website, dashboard, design, code, branding, documentation, account system, and related materials. A Plus purchase grants permission to use the service; it does not transfer software or source-code ownership.

10. Disclaimer and limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” NexyBay does not guarantee preservation of records, acceptance of reports by third parties, or uninterrupted operation. NexyBay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss caused by browser-data removal, device failure, lost account or account-email access, damaged files, unsupported software, or service-provider failure, except where such limits are not permitted by law.

11. Third-party services

Browsers, devices, credential managers, hosting, email, WordPress, WooCommerce, PayPal, payment providers, and storage or file-sharing tools are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
